📚About Glosity

Glosity is an early-stage ed-tech platform that offers a comprehensive carer-related solution to students and early career professionals to help them break into tech.

Its goal is to provide every student with equal access to exposure, knowledge, and opportunities and assist them in taking their first career leap.

⏳ Overview

🎓 Problem: Students in 2nd, 3rd tier colleges in India don't get access to proper information, opportunities, and exposure that are required to help them build the career they aspire for.

• Only 3% of 15 lakh engineering graduates in India get high-quality tech jobs with salary packages of more than 8 lakhs per annum.
• Of this 3% of graduates, the majority come from premier institutes of the country like IITs and NITs.
• This inequality in available options across institutions leads to around 12.5 lakh engineering graduates every year pursuing non-tech jobs or settling for unfairly compensated jobs.

💡 Solution / Goal : To design a platform that will offer features and resources to help students explore different career options according to their profile and interests,Learn skills required for that career option in a guided project-driven environment, showcase projects and achievements and help them land their first internship/ job.
